Launch of CAD Made Easy Program at ITAP 2021 in Singapore

(23 Nov 2021) The CAD Made Easy program was officially launched at the ITAP 2021 with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Dream Technology System (DTS), SPETA, and ZWSOFT.

DTS is a major regional Siemens PLM solution provider in the region that help customers adopt Digital Manufacturing solutions to improve efficiency in their business. The CAD Make Easy program is an initiative by DTS with the support of SPETA and ZWSOFT to help the SMEs in Singapore to begin their digitalization transformation journey towards Industry 4.0. The program offers free 2D and 3D CAD software and training to kick-start the digital journey for SMEs. The CAD Made Easy program is consistent with the Singapore government’s direction to transform the manufacturing industry into a Digital Economy to improve efficiency and streamline its operations.

Industry 4.0 is not necessary a heavy investment if you plan the digital transformation journey into different phases and small steps to gradually implement digital solutions to the manufacturing environment. By breaking it down into 3 different stages with long-term strategic planning will drive the business toward digitalization.
