Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic Application Engineer to join our team in the PJ/KL office. This role focuses on supporting both 2D and 3D design software solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with our customers and sales team, providing technical expertise across pre- and post-sales activities. This is a great opportunity to deepen your skills in engineering software and support digital transformation in manufacturing.

Job Purpose
To provide technical support and solution delivery for a range of 2D and 3D engineering and design software. The Application Engineer will collaborate with the sales team to engage with customers, understand their requirements, deliver product demonstrations, conduct user training, and ensure successful implementation and adoption of software solutions across various industries.

Responsibilities

• Support pre- and post-sales activities by delivering technical consultations and software demonstrations.
• Provide customer training (onsite, in-house, or online) for 2D and 3D software solutions.
• Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
• Conduct software installation, configuration, and basic troubleshooting at customer sites when necessary.
• Deliver competitive benchmarking and performance evaluations to highlight product strengths.
• Manage project timelines and coordinate technical deliverables to ensure successful implementation.
• Offer continuous post-sales support, including follow-ups and user guidance to maximize customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Passionate about engineering software and technology.
• Hands-on experience with 2D and/or 3D design software (e.g. AutoCAD, SolidWorks, NX, Inventor, CREO etc.).
• Good communication skills in English; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in engineering, design, or technical support roles.
• Familiarity with manufacturing, product design, or related industries is preferred.
• Able to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving skills and customer-oriented mindset is preferred
• Willing to travel for customer visits, training, or implementation as needed.
